Dog Registration

All dogs that are 3 months of age or older must be licensed. Dogs are issued a biennial license.

The owner of a dog must be 18 years of age or older.
Dog must be microchipped.

Dog registrations, dog license renewals, replacement registrations or replacement of lost or stolen dog tags are being accepted by mail.

Please mail request and check made payable to "County Director of Finance" to:

Register for a Dog License

To register for a dog license, you must provide the following information:

Owner’s name
Address
Home and business phone numbers.
Dog information:
- Breed
- Age
- Sex
- Color
- Sterilized status - Veterinary certificate required if the dog is spayed or neutered.
- Name
- Microchip Number

Complete an Application for Dog License and mail in to our office along with applicable fees.

Renew a Dog License

To renew a dog license, you must provide the following information:

Owner’s name
Address
Home and business phone numbers.
Dog information:
- Breed
- Age
- Sex
- Color
- Sterilized status - Veterinary certificate required if the dog is spayed or neutered.
- Name
- Microchip Number
- Previous License Number

Complete an Application for Dog License and mail in to our office along with applicable fees.

Replace a Registration or Dog Tags

To apply for a replacement registration or tag due to stolen/lost/illegible. You must provide the following information:

Owner’s name
Address
Home and business phone numbers.
Dog information:
- Breed
- Age
- Sex
- Color
- Sterilized status - Veterinary certificate required if the dog is spayed or neutered.
- Name
- Microchip Number
- Previous License Number

Complete an Application for Dog License and mail in to our office along with applicable fees.

Fees

Dog License - Sterilized (with vet certificate, proof of sterilization)	$ 2.10
Dog License - Sterilized (no vet certificate, proof of sterilization)	$ 6.10
Dog License - Not Sterilized	$ 6.10
Replacement Dog License	$ 0.10

The fees are not refundable and are not prorated.
